Out on the water, surrounded by mountains and pines, you can make priceless outdoor memories, teach kids lifelong lessons — and if you’re lucky, rehash it all over a fresh-caught dinner.
Free fishing in Maine is coming up this weekend! On Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18, any person may fish for free without a license on Maine’s waterways, (except those who have had their license suspended or revoked). This is the perfect opportunity to give fishing in Maine a try or, if you're an experienced angler, grab a friend or family member and take them out for a day of fun and learning!
Just remember, all other rules and
regulations, including bag and possession limits, apply.
