Black Bears are Moving !

This Picture shows 4 hungry bears on the move March 4, 2015 around Route 4 in Unionville, Conn. and were taken by Susan Adkins. and posted on the Facebook as a share.

These two pictures Feb. 22, 2015 were from Ray Arruda's on Main Street,Tiverton,R.I. near the Fall River Mass. Border.

It seems like they are getting closer to habited areas, always on the lookout when we go hiking now.

The one year old males must find new territory each season. Rhode Island is only 60 miles long.

Try Carp fishing with Marshmallow and Maise you could be surprised with a 30lb. fresh water fish ! Freshen up with new fishing line and please use circle hooks to eliminate a injury. If you are going to fill a void and try for one of the big carp remember, ( NO) lip lock tool or lifting from their delicate gill plates which may be fatal. Use the Carp nets that will save the fish for another fisher.
