Rhode Island Dem. to hold Public Workshops on April 1 and April 2, 2014

The Department of Environmental Management's Division of Fish and Wildlife will hold public workshops in Tiverton and Exeter in early April to discuss the proposed 2015-2016 Freshwater Fishing Seasons, 2014-2015 Hunting Seasons and bag limits regulations and the Park and Management Area Rules and Regulations.
April 1 at the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club, 1529 Fish Road, Tiverton, R.I. and on April 2 at the Education Center located in the Arcadia Management Area at the former Camp Ehuntee, 1b Camp Ehuntee Place, Exeter R.I. 02822 Both will start at 6;00 pm

Try Carp fishing with Marshmallow and Maise you could be surprised with a 30lb. fresh water fish ! Freshen up with new fishing line and please use circle hooks to eliminate a injury. If you are going to fill a void and try for one of the big carp remember, ( NO) lip lock tool or lifting from their delicate gill plates which may be fatal. Use the Carp nets that will save the fish for another fisher.
