2015 B.A.S.S. Nation Eastern Regional

The 2015 B.A.S.S. Nation Eastern Regional is on the Connecticut River this week, being conducted out of Riverfront Recapture’s Riverside Park (Hartford) this week (Wednesday, 9/16, through Friday, 9/18). Teams representing CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME, NY, Ontario and Spain are competing. This year RI is the sponsoring chapter (but CT chapter provided additional assistance).

Weigh-ins begin at 2:15 pm each day at the Riverside Park boat launch.

Try Carp fishing with Marshmallow and Maise you could be surprised with a 30lb. fresh water fish ! Freshen up with new fishing line and please use circle hooks to eliminate a injury. If you are going to fill a void and try for one of the big carp remember, ( NO) lip lock tool or lifting from their delicate gill plates which may be fatal. Use the Carp nets that will save the fish for another fisher.
